Question: What was the experiment you blew up at school?

OOoh that’s a very good question. One which can be easily answered with: I can’t remember. It was a chemistry class in which we were only supposed to add a small amount of something highly reactive to a test tube, but I added far too much. As a result, the reaction, which was an expansion, could only occur one way….UP! I bet the stains are still on the ceiling. The long answer relies on me having a look through my old notes.
take care,

We were burning soil in environmental science class and none of us thought to put a lid on it… so there was a volcanic eruption of burning bits of organic matter. Somewhere I still have a T-shirt with lots of holes in it!
