Question: Why do we get paranoia towards guys?

I don’t know but it sucks! My boyfriend is so balanced and sometimes I just go into a black mood. Everything that he does is bad – even if he has not done anything wrong. Before I was certain of him, I would worry that he didn’t want me and think about where he was and what he was doing all the time. That has calmed down a bit as I have got older. I think the paranoia must be related to our hormone levels. I am definitely more paranoid and anxious at certain times of the month. However, I sometimes wonder if it serves an evolutionary purpose. Are we not just female monkeys defending our place in the pecking order?
