I learnt this when I watched a Tv program about animals in the womb. If I’m correct (without checking that link, of course) the chicken makes the egg out of calcium? I’m not entirely sure.

Yup, they need caclium for the egg shell! Why not check the link, or do your own research and see if it throws up any other questions?

The egg exists before the calcium shell. Sometimes chickens will lay an egg without a calcium shell and it just looks like a floppy sack. Not sure why that is though. How’s your research coming along Ryan? You could tell me – please!
